A Mid-Missouri Tradition Remains a Family Affair

Norton and Mary Evans, owners of The 63 Diner, are moving on from the retail restaurant industry to expand their Senior Meals Program August 1, 2005.

Since they started The 63 Diner in 1989, they have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people; people who have become life-long friends.

It is very important that The 63 Diner remain a fun place for friends and families to enjoy a unique 50’s experience and to have a great meal.

"Our two-year search resulted in finding a group of local individuals who share our same family values, business philosophy and desires. It has been reassuring to me and the whole 63 Diner family to have found families that will transition from being some of our most faithful regular customers into working owners," said Mary Evans.

The new owners are Andy Acton, Kevin Brown, Craig Hindeling and Barry Nichols, all of Columbia, Missouri.

The same great staff will still be here to serve you Tuesday through Saturday with the same old-fashioned quality and service you have come to expect.
